This is the short version of how Lock N Talk handles your information. The full legal policy will be published here before the public launch.
Calls are end-to-end encrypted between the two phones. The server cannot decrypt or listen to them. Calls are never recorded — no audio file is ever created. The only call record kept is basic metadata: the two Lock N Talk numbers, the time, and the duration, so the service can operate and show call history.
We keep your Lock N Talk number, the name your circle owner gave you, and a registration record for each approved phone. Public subscribers are created through Apple's subscription system; people invited personally by a circle owner are managed by that owner.
Ask your circle owner, or use the account deletion option in the app (included at public launch). Deleting removes your number, your phone registrations, and your circle memberships.
